No Alibis book store launch recap

Unionists, Loyalists, and Conflict Transformation in Northern Ireland enjoyed a second launch at No Alibis Bookstore on March 12, 2012. A little less formal than the launch at Stormont, everyone enjoyed refreshments and the opportunity to chat and make new acquaintances and contacts with people deeply involved and interested in conflict transformation and peacebuilding.

Mark Hammond (Lecturer at University of Ulster, Jordanstown) and Dominic Bryan (Director of the Institute of Irish Studies at Queens University) offered kind comments and reflections, and the author had the opportunity to say a few words of thanks.

Mark Hammond ended the proceedings by announcing that the book had just been awarded the Donald Murphy Book Prize for Distinguished First Book by the American Conference for Irish Studies.
